We made our way back to our old friends McDonalds, this time our stop brought us to Corning. We didn't fair so well with rain, but we have grown quite use to that after the last few stops. People kept on coming any way, it appears when you bring out simulators, giveaways and a stock car, nothing will keep them away. We hope to see you at one of our next stops or at this weekends race!

Taste Of Rochester

The weekend of June 26-29th we stayed in Rochester for the annual "Taste of Rochester". At the start we got soaked. Later in the day it cleared up and stayed that way for the majority of the weekend. The festival abruptly ended Sunday as we got drenched again. We had a lot of people that came to our tent, checked everything out and signed up to win Indy tickets to the event being held July 4th weekend. We stayed in the Radisson Hotel which turned out to be convenient for us as it was within walking distance of our display. We also tried out our new tv for the first time this year and played last years Nascar race at the Glen. It was a very long weekend but most everyone had a great time.

Mcdonalds Stop In Utica

Wednesday, June 24th we traveled all the way to Utica, New York. We met up with the radio station "Big Frog 104" at the Utica Mcdonalds on North Genesee Road. The kids were very excited to see Froggy and collect some free posters from us of Indy Car drivers. Everyone seemed very excited to see us and Froggy and the weather was very humid but all in all a fun day at Mcdonalds.

Mann's Jewelry Stop

On June 19th and 20th we went to Mann's Jewelers in Rochester. We brought along the official Watkins Glen Hybrid Pacecar for this stop. We also held a "VIP experience" raffle for Indy Car weekend on the weekend of July 4th. The winner receives pace car laps around the track, hospitality and many other perks as well. The weather held out on Friday but rained all day on Saturday. The rain did not stop people from stopping by and checking everything out.

McDonald's Tour Stop

On Thursday, June 18th, we will be stopping at McDonald's on Harry L. Drive in Johnson City. We will be there from 11am to 1pm. Come and get free merchandise and collect information about the glen. We will also bring our racing modules which are a lot of fun for not only kids but adults as well. Pictured above is our usual setup with a showcar, showtruck, trailor, tent/table/information, and our racing modules. Get your Indy tickets for $39 instead of the usual $45 for GA entry. Hope to see you there!

Cox's Northern Tier Harley-Davidson Excitement

Tiffany and I headed out to Mansfield, PA Saturday for our most recent tour stop. The weather held up just long enough for an exciting day. A lot of riders turned out for the event on their Harley's. The kids enjoyed our racing modules while riders stopped by to ask about events coming up at the glen. It got exciting when we noticed a black bear running out in the field. That drew a lot of attention for about five minutes while it was there.

(the black bear is the little spec in the backround)

There was also a very tasty pig roast that was put on while they had a few Harley mini-games. The night wrapped up with a few big clouds of smoke from the burnout contest that took place. All in all it was a fun and exciting day at Cox's Northern Tier Harley-Davidson.

After six hours of racing the DP cars were led to the checkered flag by the #01 car driven by the combination of Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas. This marked their second consecutive win of the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. Their complete domination of the race ended up pulling them into a tie for first place in the points. Dirk Werner and Leh Keen ended up winning the race for the GT class of the race. Werner and Keen also led the most laps and took the championship points lead following the checkered flag. It was a very fun weekend that included a hotdog eating contest, live band, DP showcar on display, and pace car rides given out around the WGI road course. A lot of smiles throughout the day were around WGI for a great day of racing for the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen.
